Quinbrook Exceeds Target for Net Zero Power Strategy Raising USD 3 Billion in Capital Commitments
Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners (“Quinbrook”), a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition, has held a final closing of the Net Zero Power Fund. Quinbrook secured a total of USD 3 billion of new capital commitments in aggregate across the fund and co-investment vehicles for the NZPF strategy (“NZPF”, or the “Fund”). NZPF is Quinbrook’s fifth successive energy transition focused fund raised to date. The Fund attracted new institutional investors from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the EU and comprised a mix of pension, sovereign and insurance institutions along with a number of fund of funds, endowments and family offices.
Quinbrook Closes $600m Solar+Storage ‘Continuation Fund’
Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners (“Quinbrook”), a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition today announced the successful closing of Quinbrook Valley of Fire Fund with $600 million in capital commitments from leading US and European institutional investors. The Fund is a continuation of the large scale solar+storage strategy of Quinbrook’s Low Carbon Power Fund (“LCPF”) which held its final closing in 2019. The Quinbrook Valley of Fire Fund has acquired 51% of the Gemini Solar + Storage project and 100% of the remaining Valley of Fire project development portfolio (“VoF”) from the LCPF and certain other equity holders. The lead investor in the Quinbrook Valley of Fire Fund is Blackstone Strategic Partners.
